Workshop Learning Objectives
Upon completion of the workshop, the participants will have:
Developed test taking and study strategies for the licensure exam;
Gained an in-depth understanding of the social work licensure examination process;
Developed a clear understanding of the differences between LSW and LISW exams;
Reviewed and “refreshed” their understanding of already learned concepts in:
Human behavior and social environment
Diversity
Micro practice (casework, family intervention and group work)
Macro practice (community organizing, supervision, social work administration)
Social work values and ethics
Utilization of research
General social work terminology, therapeutic strategies, treatment, practice techniques, DSM-IV, psychopharmacology, and so on.

6.0 clock hours (CEUs) are available through
the School of Social Work provider status
approved by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board
